Brandi "The Queen of Hearts" Williams
Brandi Williams is widely recognized in the poker community as the sexy host of the hit series Ultimate Poker Challenge. Even though she shares co-hosting duties, it is apparent that the camera loves her, as she seems to get more air-time than anyone else. Brandi Williams has been dubbed Brandi Williams has been dubbed as The Queen of Hearts and the Princess of Poker by numerous popular gambling magazines. At only 24 years old, she was named ‘One of the 50 Sexiest Women of 2005’ by the long-running Femme Fatales magazine. In 2004, she helped host America’s Party: New Years Live From Las Vegas, a show to ring in the New Year that featured musical acts and performances.
Brandi Williams got her boost of fame from the series Ultimate Poker Challenge. When the show premiered, it quickly became a hit and eventually went on to become one of the largest poker shows in syndication. The premise of the show is that each week represents a tournament with the players competing for a seat in the semi-finals. The players can qualify based on their points leaderboard for their finishing positions.
In the show, Brandi acts as co-host with actor Chad Brown. Brandi Williams provides player interviews and into and out-of commercial breaks. The show has featured big poker names such as Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harman, and Phil Laak. After four seasons, the show has been a viewer favorite in the ratings.
Erin Ness
Erin Ness (born October 12, 1978) is an American poker player, photo assistant for Maxim Magazine, and television personality, including appearances on GSN's Poker Royale. In 2004 she was the third highest placing woman in the main event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), finishing in the money in 207th place. She has subsequently parlayed that finish into a part-time poker career, including the television appearances and being part of Team PokerStars.
As of 2008, her total live tournament winnings exceed $20,000. A graduate of Georgetown University, Ness currently lives in New York City.
Courtney Friel
Friel was a sports anchor and entertainment reporter for GoTV Mobile Television, as well as the hostess for the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel. She was also the host of GameStop/EBGames "EB TV" which boasted of recently released and upcoming video games. Before that, she was the co-anchor of Court TV's The Saturday Night Solution.
Friel has also worked as a field reporter for various networks including: E! Entertainment, Oxygen Channel and Comcast Cable, the World Poker Tour, as well as the syndicated program, Extra. She also worked as an anchor at ABC affiliate WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee in 2003. She joined Fox News Channel in February 2007.
Johnny "Orient Express" Chan
How many poker players have been inspired by Johnny Chan? but it's been a lot. From china he came across to America to study and work. In finding how to make money, he found out that he can make money through playing poker which turned into his passion for playing.
Johnny Chan is one of three players to have back to back (1987 and 1988) WSOP Championship wins and Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss made the unique offer of a NBA Championship ring if he was able to pull off a three-peat. He nearly did, coming in second in 1989. Only two other players share the distinction of owning ten of the coveted WSOP bracelets and Johnny may be a few card games away from number eleven. This 2002 Poker Hall of Famer regularly finishes in the money at World Poker Tour events and dreams of owning and operating his own casino.
Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari
From Tehran, Iran , His mark had been made the poker world. He played in the 2004 WSOP and won the Bracelet and Money. He also become an author of a book, titled "World Poker Tour: In the Money" that was released in 2006.
In addition to finding a career that satisfies Antonio's craving for challenge and wealth, he has also gained the respect of his father. He has the notoriety which comes from appearances on the WPT, and he is living well, enjoying his youth. Antonio continues to travel around the world putting his sharp poker skills to work.
Robin Hood of Poker - Barry Greenstein
Now known for his charity work and nickname "Robin Hood of Poker," Greenstein says people wrongly assumed he cashed out of Symantec a rich man. That was not the case. He made his poker roll playing poker.
2009 WSOP Champion - Lisa Hamilton
The 2009 World Series of Poker Ladies Poker Championship is Lisa Hamilton, from Las Vegas, NV. Lisa is originally from Hawaii. In 2005 Lisa moved to Vegas.
Hamilton does not describe herself as a 'professional poker player.' Yet she spends many hours playing poker (in big cash games). She explained she is shy and does not want to boast about playing poker for a living.
Hamilton also spends some of her time helping with the family business, which is in clothing retail.
Lisa Hamilton is a high-stakes cash-game player. She regularly sits in the upper strata of No-Limit games, from $10-20 up to $50-100 blinds, a big game by any standard. She rarely plays in poker tournaments.
Jennifer "Unabombshell" Tilly
On June 27, 2005, Tilly won a World Series of Poker bracelet (and $158,625) in the Ladies' No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em event, outlasting 600 other players. She followed up this accomplishment on September 1, 2005, by also winning the third World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational Tournament held at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles. Tilly has appeared in the GSN Poker Royale series. She appeared in the third season of Poker Superstars but was eliminated in the preliminary round. Tilly played in the Celebrity Poker Showdown which aired June 14, 2006, on Bravo. Tilly was knocked out in third place by Bravo’s online poker champion Ida Siconolfi (the first non-celebrity to appear on the show) when her A♣ K♥ failed to improve against Ida's starting hand of K♣ K♠. Tilly appears as a celebrity, rather than a poker pro, in ESPN's Pro-Am Poker Equalizer.
In a television interview, Tilly stated that at this point in her career she is more interested in pursuing poker than acting. As of 2008, her live tournament winnings exceed $450,000. Tilly also appears in the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions 2007 Edition video game (along with current boyfriend, Phil Laak) that was released in 2007 by Activision. As of December 2008, Tilly retired from the pursuit of poker as a career. In the December, 2008, edition of Bluff Magazine she says: "I love poker but greatness in poker is an elusive dream. There are too many variants. Trying to find validation in poker is like trying to find a virgin in a whorehouse. I’m not giving up poker entirely — gambling is an addiction after all. I’m just going to treat it more like a hobby and less like a career."
Vanessa "Lady Maverick" Rousso

She finished 80th in a field of 1068 in Event 4, $1,500 Limit Hold'em, 63rd in a field of 824 in Event 5, $2500 Short Handed No-Limit Hold'em, and she placed 8th of 507 in the Event 30, $5000 Short Handed No-Limit Hold'em event.
At 2009 World Series of Poker she had four in the money finishes: She placed 27 of 201 in Event 2, $40,000 No Limit Hold'em, placed 17 of 147 in Event 8, $2500 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball, placed 19 of 770 in Event 31, $1,500 H.O.R.S.E., and 15 of 275 in the Event 45, $10,000 World Championship Pot-Limit Hold'em.
Vicky Coren
As a commentator/presenter, she has presented Late Night Poker and The Poker Nations Cup for Channel 4, World Poker Tour for ITV2, and commentated on The Monte Carlo EPT and The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (Channel 4), Ultimate Poker Challenge (Channel 5), and William Hill Poker Grand Prix 2 (Sky Sports). During her poker career, she has become a close friend of The Hendon Mob, and mixes weekly home games with frequent visits to two regular casinos. Coren appeared in five episodes of Late Night Poker, although she never made it to a series grand final. However in Late Night Poker's spin-off Celebrity Poker Club, she defeated Willie Thorne to win the series two grand final before joining Jesse May as the commentator in series three. In the 2003 Hold-Em 100 tournament in London she was a guest dealer for the final table. On Sunday 24 September 2006 Coren won the main event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) London earning a prize of £500,000.
After a gruelling four-day event she found herself heads up with Australian professional Emad Tahtouh. After only two hands of heads-up play the table saw a flop of 5-3-4. Emad bet out and Coren called. After a 10 on the turn, Emad moved all-in and Coren called instantly. Emad showed 8-6, and Coren had 6-7. Having flopped the straight and avoiding a seven on the river to give Emad a higher straight, she defeated her opponent. As of 2008, her total live tournament winnings exceeded $1,200,000. Coren is a member of Team PokerStars Pro.
