Maria Ho
Maria Ho is a professional poker player who lives in Arcadia, California. Maria was the last woman standing in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event, out of a field of 6,358 players. Maria moved with her family to the United States when she was 4 years old. After a short stint in Syracuse, New York, her family settled in Arcadia in 1988. Maria attended high school at Sacred Heart, where she was a cheerleader.
In 2001, Maria started college at University of California San Diego, and majored in mass communications. She graduated in June 2005, and traveled the country and the world for a year. In 2006, she moved back to Arcadia. She currently lives there and hones her poker playing skills at the Commerce Casino. To date, her career winnings exceed $340,000. Maria has cashed twice in the World Poker Tour for over $50,000, both in her hometown casinos, The Bicycle Legends of Poker and The Commerce L.A. Poker Classic. She is ranked 37th in the Top 100 Women's All Time Money List.
