Soon after Evelyn's 21st birthday, she moved to Vegas where she continued to work as a dealer while she played cash games on the side and built a bankroll. In 2003, after being introduced to the tournament circuit, she entered and won a satellite for the World Poker Tour Ladies Night event. She took second place in the event but outlasted opponents such as Jennifer Harman, Annie Duke, and Kathy Liebert, thus firmly establishing herself as a formidable opponent in the poker world.
Evy continues to excel in tournaments, cashing in major events on a consistent basis. One of the most notable cashes was the 2005 WPT Borgata Poker Open where she placed 11th. She continues to improve her game through consistent play and intense study of the game, and her hope is to take down a well-deserved championship title in the near future. In the meantime, poker enthusiasts everywhere look forward to seeing her at the tables, especially as she perform.
